WELCOME

Welcome Divas,
I have created this site in the hopes of doing away with the stigma that is placed on having NATURAL hair in our community, and by natural I mean YOUR hair whether it be relaxed or not.  I live in Baltimore and no offense to anyone who has it, but "track" has run rampant in the black community.  Mothers are placing weaves in their toddlers hair and young teenage girls are walking around with full sew-ins and rocking the dreaded "invisible part" (shudders).  I just want to emphasize the proper way to take care of YOUR hair so that one day it will grow into the locks that are being placed into our heads artificially. Also I want to shed light on all the issues that come with this weave epidemic (history, self esteem, etc.) Please join and offer your advice and upload photos.  I encourage any positive information to be shared with all those who view this site:)
THANK YOU
