Q:What is it like being natural?
A:Being natural has been a great but tough experience for me. It has given me a greater appreciation for my natural beauty. Embracing my naturalness has not only improved my self confidence and esteem, it has helped me to appreciate my crown and its uniqueness. I love my natural hair therefore I do what I have to do to keep it healthy. As always there is room for improvement but we are our own worst critics.
Q:So what inspired you to become a stylist?
A:Wow! Well my mother had long beautiful hair that she used to fix up for a special events and I used watch her and later became fascinated. I have always been interested with hair, I used to do my own ponytails when I was five. I went to the salon at seven and that's when I really knew it was love. (LOL) I absorbed everything my first stylist did and went home and began practicing on anything that had hair. (chuckle) 'Til this very day the same woman clips my ends and does my hair. She is the only woman I let cut my hair, PERIOD. (lol) From then on I was fixing my hair in school or my sisters' hair and the rest is history...
Q:What is your specialty?
A:Well obviously, natural hair, all types. But I love hair. It's my hobby, my art form. I need versatility...I enjoy doing different things to peoples hair. A little challenge is always healthy.
Q:If you were stranded on a deserted island ad could only take 5 products with you, what would they be?
A:
1.Castor Oil
2.Kera Care Natural Line (anything really)
3.Double Sided Comb
4.Bobby Pins
5.Water (but if its an island I may not need water lol)
Q:Describe your style...
A:My style? What's my style? hmmmm(thinks) Well... I'm have a whatever-I'm-in-the-mood-for style. One day I may feel like a college grad, another day I may feel like a stone cold hippy. I dress the way I feel for the most part unless laundry needs to be done. Just keeping it real. (lol)
Q:Is there anything that motivates you to keep going? What or who?
Q:What are your dreams for the future?

A:
Dreams....I have a lot of those. House, kids, husband, dog, white picket fence, cat and a turtle and a two car garage and eventually an empire. (lol) But really, they all sum up to successfully owning a salon and being the best, natural mother I can be.
love this! you go Jacks!
